Approving installers of specific construction products

• Approving for installation of ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems with Rendering)
• Approving for installation of thermal and hydro insulation systems of flat roofs
• Approving for installation of expansion joints for bridges
• Approving for installation of windows and external doors

The installation methods of the products listed above are considered critical to the performance of the systems created from these products and poor installation practice can substantially reduce system effectiveness and life, and have an adverse effect on the performance and durability of the buildings resp. bridges.

The Institute as the Accredited Inspection Body, provided the applying installer have met all the requirements set up in the Institute’s assessment and surveillance scheme, approves the installer‘s ability carry out installation work properly and grants the approved installer a corresponding licence.
