Certification of constancy of performance of the product acc. to CPR (systems 1+ and 1)

The Institute carries out certification of constancy of performance of the product acc. to CPR as the Notified body No. 1301, provided:

• the product is covered by a relevant document, i.e. either the harmonized European standard (hEN) or the European technical assessment (ETA),
• and hEN or ETA stipulates the system 1+ or 1 as the system of assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP),
• and for which hEN, respectively European Assessment Documents (EAD), under which the ETA was issued, the Institute is notified as product certification body (scope of notification in NANDO).

Then the notified product certification body issues the certificate of constancy of performance of the product on the basis of:

1. an assessment of the performance of the construction product carried out on the basis of testing (including sampling), calculation, tabulated values or descriptive documentation of the product;
2. initial inspection of the manufacturing plant and of factory production control;
3. regular surveillance, assessment and evaluation of factory production control;
4. and, if system 1+ applies, audit-testing of samples taken by the notified product certification body at the manufacturing plant or at the manufacturer’s storage facilities.

Proceeding for issuance of the certificate begins when accepting an application (application form) and continues with signing of a certification contract.
