Construction products
The Institute is mostly active in the field of construction products.
Placing the construction products on the EU market, resp. the Slovak market, is regulated by the Council Directive 89/106/EEC on the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to construction products, resp. the Slovak Act no. 90/1998 Coll. as amended and the Ministerial Decree no. 558/2009 Coll. The Institute as the Approval Body and the Approved Body provides manufacturers with services that are prerequisites for the CE marking or the national CSK marking of their products.
